Update on Venezuela/Guyana Border Crisis

Update: Venezuelan President stated yesterday that everyone has 3 months to get their equipment out of the Essequibo Region and pull out or further action will be taken to claim the land, which would involve military force. This has now got to a level which gained International interest so US went into Guyana today to practice military drills. US will support Guyana as a few other countries will as well. We praise God for this! Keep praying!

Also pray for the families of the 5 soldiers that were killed yesterday when the Guyanese military helicopter crashed near the Venezuelan border. It is unknown as to what happened. Investigations are underway. Two survived and are injured badly, pray for them as well.

Urgent Prayer Request

Venezuela is trying to claim part of Guyana as their land which would be the Essequibo Region. Their people of Venezuela voted on Sunday Dec 3rd for their country to proceed with this process even if military action is needed. The Carib Nations said that Guyana will not give land over to Venezuela because it doesn’t belong to them. The next days, weeks and months ahead are crucial.

Our ministry is in this Essequibo Region they are laying claim too. Please pray for the decisions made; that war wouldn’t break out; and the safety of the people and ministry properties there. Thank you!
