We are Ray and Kim Boltz, Missionaries to the people of Guyana and to the people of our own homeland reaching them with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We are assisted by All Points Baptist Mission.
We are sent out of New Testament Baptist Church in Butler, PA by Pastor Brian Lott and his wife Niki.
We moved to Guyana in 2012 and served alongside national Pastors as we learned the culture, people, their Creole English language, and their villages. By April of 2015, we planted our first church, Harbour Light Baptist Church in the village of Bushy Park, Parika in the East Bank Essequibo Region of Guyana, South America. It has grown to be fairly large with a very faithful crowd who enjoy staying busy for the Lord soul winning and reaching others with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We came off the field temporarily in 2018 to get independent adulthood living for our two adopted sons who have special needs.
It is our vision by God’s grace, and if the Lord tarries, to start one church per year as the Lord leads us to new locations in Guyana and has a National from our church trained and ready.
The James 1:27 Ministry includes:
*Lighthouse of Hope Children’s Home – to rescue children in need giving them a place they can call home that will provide peace, comfort, food, clothes, education and to raise them up in the fear and admonition of the Lord so that they can become productive adults in their society and to be servants of the Lord wherever God would call them.
LOVE & HOPE PENPAL Child Sponsorship Program – Bless the life of a child living in the Home for just $25, $50, or $100 a month to help meet their needs and some wants. This helps to gift, feed, clothe, and educate that child in your name because of HIM and in return they will send pictures and correspondence by email quarterly to you and occasional packages by mail also. You will have access to email them letters and pictures as well. A place for widowed Moms with children to guide them to a place of hope and comfort through Jesus Christ; to help them be a strong family unit in their society without a husband and a father; to aid and assist them in their time of affliction.
